మీకు స్వాగతం · Welcome
Gathering beside the old Azamabad mills since 1938.
Our Congregation
Wesley Church, Musheerabad was planted in 1938 for families who had come to the city with little more than faith — men and women from the famine-struck villages of Telangana who found work in the mills of the Azamabad industrial estate, and found one another at prayer. What began as a branch of Wesley Church, Ramkote grew into a pastorate of its own, its whitewashed walls raised at the heart of Musheerabad.
Nearly nine decades on, we remain that same congregation at heart: a Telugu-speaking church of the Church of South India, Diocese of Medak, worshipping in the CSI liturgy and carrying the Wesleyan warmth of our founders. Whether your family has been here for four generations or you are stepping through the arch for the first time — this house is yours.

Our Story
The ledger of a congregation born among migrant mill-workers — and still keeping their faith, week by week.
The Wesleyan Methodist ministry begins its work in the Nizam's dominion at Chudderghat, in the Abids–Ramkote quarter of the city — the seed from which the Wesley churches of Hyderabad would grow.
Within two decades the mission establishes centres in town and village alike, and a community of some six thousand believers takes shape across the region.
The Azamabad industrial belt rises on the city's edge. Famine drives families from Aler, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Medak, Siddipet, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Warangal to seek work here — and Rev. F. C. Sackett and Mrs. Elizabeth Sackett give themselves to ministering among the migrants.
Under Rev. Eber Priestly, Superintendent of the Hyderabad District, the Wesleyan Methodist mission establishes a congregation at Musheerabad as a branch of Wesley Church, Ramkote — a spiritual home for the Christian industrial migrants of Telangana.
On 27 September 1947 the Wesleyan Methodists join the great church union that forms the Church of South India. The Musheerabad congregation comes under the Diocese of Medak, where it remains to this day.
Now a pastorate in its own right, Wesley Church Musheerabad worships in Telugu each Sunday, carries its services to members everywhere on YouTube, and counts the years toward its centenary in 2038.
Life Together
Every generation has a place here — and a work to do.
Children learn the Scriptures through story, song and memory verse — taught with the patience of generations of Wesley teachers.
The young people of the pastorate in worship, service and friendship — leading songs, lending hands, and finding their own faith.
Prayer, Bible study and quiet acts of charity — the steady lamp of the congregation, week in and week out.
Telugu lyrics and Wesleyan hymnody carried by voices young and old — the sound this church has made since 1938.
Beyond These Walls
Sunday services and special programmes from the sanctuary are carried on the pastorate's channels — for members far from home, and friends yet to visit.
